The R700AC Powered Action is a groundbreaking air rifle that seamlessly merges the timeless design of the Remington 700 with advanced airgun technology. Built on the iconic short-action bolt rifle platform, the R700AC incorporates innovative features that elevate performance, precision, and customization to new heights. Retaining the external dimensions of the Remington 700, this air rifle is compatible with a vast range of aftermarket stocks, chassis systems, and triggers, making it highly versatile. The R700AC’s primary plenum is integrated into the bolt, while a secondary plenum and fully adjustable regulator are housed within the scope rail, providing a compact and efficient design. Dual air gauges located at the rear of the scope rail allow easy monitoring of tank and plenum pressures from the shooting position.
Central to its innovation is the patented pneumatic valve system, which offers an externally adjustable valve dwell time ranging from 700 µS to 3 mS. This provides three operation modes—low pressure with high dwell, high pressure with low dwell, and high pressure with high dwell—enabling precise tuning for various calibers, pellet weights, and power needs. The rifle also features an oil-damped precision leaf regulator, ensuring consistent plenum pressures between 60 and 200 bar, even during rapid fire. This system guarantees shot-to-shot consistency without the need for dual regulators.
The R700AC utilizes a modified bolt-action mechanism, mimicking the operation of a traditional firearm. Its bolt not only cocks the rifle but also extracts and ejects cased pellets or slugs, ensuring smooth and reliable operation. Pellets or slugs are loaded into reusable brass or aluminum cases lined with TPU to prevent damage and reduce noise. This design accommodates a high-capacity AICS-style magazine, capable of holding up to 40 rounds of .177 or 30 rounds of .30 caliber ammunition, with magazine depths optimized for longer projectiles.
Additional features include a linearly aligned primary plenum, a short and unrestricted transfer port, and the use of secondary plenums to maintain consistent velocity. The rifle’s customizable design supports various barrel lengths (600mm and 700mm) and calibers (.177, .22, .25, and .30), with a fill pressure of up to 310 bar (4500 psi) and air capacities ranging from 250cc to 370cc. Its construction uses precision rifle steel and stainless steel for enhanced durability.
